On December 3, 2025, as part of the English Language Week, an event titled “Open Space: Interactive Dialogue with a Native Speaker” was held at the Zhambyl Humanities High College named after Abai. The guest of the event was Mr. Alex Xavier from Jamaica, a teacher at a language school.
The purpose of the event was to improve speaking and listening skills through real-time communication and cultural exchange in an open-space format. During the event, students had the opportunity to freely interact with the native speaker, ask questions, and discuss topics related to learning, culture, and personal development.
Such meetings contribute to the development of oral communication skills, vocabulary expansion, and motivate students to actively study foreign languages and engage in intercultural communication.
