On November 20, 2025, the Abay Zhambyl Humanitarian Higher College held a regional spiritual-educational event titled “Mirzhakyp: A Path of Serving the Nation,” dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Mirzhakyp Dulatov — a prominent Kazakh poet, writer, scholar, publicist, teacher, translator, and public figure.
The purpose of the event was to promote the life and work of Mirzhakyp Dulatov, a prominent figure of the Alash movement, to the younger generation, to introduce his social and political views, and to nurture patriotic youth.
The event began with a literary performance titled “Oyan, Qazaq” (Awaken, Kazakh) and the song “Alash urany” (The Alash Slogan).
Participants included:
- B.R. Duisenbayev – Master teacher of Kazakh language and literature at the specialized “Daryn” boarding lyceum for gifted children, recipient of the national “Best Teacher 2012” award;
- A.A. Tatibekova – Master teacher of Kazakh language and literature at Abay Secondary School with a preschool center in T. Ryskulov district, recipient of the “Best Teacher 2023” award;
- T.K. Laubay – History teacher at B. Momyshuly Kazakh Classical Gymnasium №45 in Taraz city, pedagogical researcher, “Best Teacher 2025” awardee.
Guests shared valuable insights about Mirzhakyp’s life and legacy, and answered questions from students.
