On March 15, 2023, the regional children's choral competition "Nauryz-Koktem" was held, organized by the Zhambyl Higher Humanitarian College named after Abai and the Center for the Development of Technical and Vocational Education. 9 choirs from the Palace of Schoolchildren, secondary schools of Taraz and districts of Zhambyl region took part in the competition. The applicants performed folk songs and songs of foreign composers accompanied and in the genre of acapella.
