On January 29, 2025, within the walls of the Higher Humanitarian College named after Abay, Zhambyl region, a grand Junior Skills championship was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding composer, conductor and dombra player Nurgisa Tlendiev. The event was organized by the PCC "Instrumental Performance", which became a bright celebration of musical creativity, professional skill and the discovery of new talents among young musicians.
Goal of the championship:
Creation of a model of early professional orientation and a system for preparing students for the basics of professional skill based on expert assessment and creative skills of participants.
Main objectives:
The championship included several stages, during which the participants demonstrated their musical (solo performance) and technical (presentation) skills, as well as playing in an ensemble. Particular attention was drawn to the competition in playing musical instruments, where young musicians performed works by Nurgisa Tlendiev. These performances became a vivid confirmation of the keen interest of young people in the legacy of the great composer.
The expert jury, consisting of famous teachers, highly appreciated the level of training of the participants. Not only technical skills were noted, but also the emotional transmission of musical works, which is especially important in the professional development of a musician.
