On October 28, 2024, a city-wide intellectual competition titled “Bіlіm órіsі” was held at the Abai Zhambyl Humanities Higher College to enhance functional literacy in natural sciences and the ability to apply scientific data, concepts, and ideas in real-life situations.
Several vocational colleges in the city participated in the event. College students from Taraz demonstrated their functional literacy in each academic subject.
As a result, the team from the Taraz College of Service and Technology was awarded a first-degree diploma, the Taraz Innovative Multidisciplinary College received a second-degree diploma, and the third-degree diploma went to the Zhambyl Higher Medical College and the Taraz Polytechnic College. The team from the Abai Zhambyl Humanities Higher College received a certificate of appreciation.
